Literature Text

Took a moment, as the sun slowly faded from horizon
Took a moment, as the moon shone through the window
Poured out the faintest light towards a flower
For it became a symbol of regret
Symbol of a distant memory
Moments of silence could not take away

Only if a moment, I could feel the softest touch of breath
Only if a moment, I could feel the softest silk of skin
Giving me your love became your greatest gift to me
Only if, only if, for one last time
Just for one more minute
Only an apology to say

Thank you for submitting. Here is my evaluation of the poem for #poeticalcondition. The first thing I noticed was the opening two lines, they resemble a song refrain and I endeavored to think of a rhythm. The general layout of the poem was very good.
